A local charitable initiative specializing in providing vital dental care to people without coverage got some major backing through a health and social services partnership.

Gift From the Heart, in partnership with The Bridge Integrated Care Hub, recently operated a new mobile dental clinic, ensuring people in need can access high quality dental care before pain drives them to the ER.”

“Our neighbours deserve dignified care, an no one should have to live in pain,” stated Kareen McKinnon, Deputy Executive Director of Gift From the Heart.

“By providing people with the care and support they need and making sure they sign up for regular dental care check-ups, we’re preventing ER visits and building a healthier community,” added McKinnon.

“Everyone has a role to play in supporting our neighbours and creating safer, healthier neighbourhoods. We’re proud to help make that change and provide this essential service.”
