Work undertaken to prepare for final paving of several streets in Wellington

Clearway Group, the municipality’s contractor, has completed asphalt milling and other work in preparation for the final paving on sections of Belleville St, Wellington Main St, and Prince Edward Dr.

Where the asphalt milling has taken place, there are temporary bumps int he road where asphalt lap joints have been applied. Motorists are asked to approach and traverse the construction zones with caution. The lap joints created by asphalt milling will be removed when the final paving of the road takes place.

The final paving is expected to occur the week of Nov 17, whether dependent. Updates will be provided when they come available.
