Belleville man charged with breach of release order

Belleville Police have charged a man with breaching his previous release order.

On November 5th at 3:35pm, Belleville Police responded to a residence in the city’s west end following information that a male was breaching the conditions of his release order.

Upon arrival, officers observed a vehicle in the driveway belonging to a male who was known to be bound by conditions to not attend the residence or communicate with the female resident or her children.

Police located the male inside the residence. As a result, a 38-year-old Belleville man was arrested and charged with four counts of failure to comply with a release order.

He was held for a bail hearing. No name was released.
