UPDATE – major slowdowns on westbound 401 in Napanee area

UPDATE at 7 am Tuesday – scene was cleared overnight and all lanes westbound 401 now open again at County Road 41 in Napanee.

ORIGINAL STORY AT 5 am Tuesday – There were some major slowdowns on the westbound 401 in the Napanee area on Monday night.

The two right lanes on  401 westbound were closed at County Road 41 in Napanee because to a transport truck fire.

It happened on Monday night around 7:30 pm. No word yet on injuries.

Lane reductions were in place for the entire evening and possibly into the morning.

More infomation is expected on Tuesday.
