City of Quinte West officials issued a correction on Wednesday, saying the work will be on the CPKC Railway in the area, not CN.

A portion of Whites Road in Bayside will be closed to through traffic next week for Canadian Pacific Kansas City (CPKC) Railway maintenance

The City of Quinte West is giving this advance notice of the closure, which it says will last from Tuesday, November 11 at 6 a.m. to the next day, November 12 at 2 p.m.

All traffic will be detoured for the duration of the closure, which is between Whites Road between Meyers Creek Road and Quinte Road

Access to Whites Road will be maintained from Meyers Creek Road from the north and Highway 2 from the south until the closure is completed.
