Two people have been arrested by Tyendinaga Police and a warrant has been issued for a third following a robbery and another incident where a man on a motorcycle was attacked.

The Tyendinaga Police Service posted the details on social media late Thursday.

Yesterday (October 30th), Tyendinaga Police arrested Connor Bolton at a residence on Old Highway 2 with the help of multiple OPP units.

He was wanted in connection with two separate incidents from last week.

On October 23rd, a vehicle with emergency lights conducted a traffic stop on a motorcycle after which the rider was assaulted and the motorcycle was stolen.

The next day, a property owner was threatened and some money was taken from the register of a business on Highway 49.

Bolton faces charges (in connection with both incidents) which include Personating a Police Officer, Assault with a Weapon, Uttering Threats and Robbery with Theft. He is being held for a bail hearing on Friday.

Megan Shaver of Deseronto was charged with Robbery with Theft and surrendered herself to the Tyendinaga Police Service. She was released with a court date next month.

A warrant has been issued for Daniel Griffin of Markham on a charge of Robbery with Theft. He remains at large at this time.
