Pair of thefts in Belleville Tuesday

By Hailey MacDonald Sep 3, 2025 | 9:58 AM

Belleville Police dealt with a pair of thefts on Tuesday and are seeking the public’s assistance in finding information and suspects.

Just after 10 a.m., officers responded to the report of an e-bike theft on Village Dr.

The e-bike, red in colour, had reportedly been stolen from outside a residence sometime overnight.

Then around 11:15 a.m., Belleville Police responded to a call at a business on Sidney St. regarding another theft.

It was reported from the scene that unknown suspects entered the work yard and stole copper wire and work equipment sometime over the weekend.

Investigations into both of these thefts are ongoing. These incidents are not believed to be related to each other.

Anyone with details is asked to contact the Belleville Police Service at 613 966-0882 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
