Lennox and Addington County OPP has charged two people with driving related offences.

After the vehicle and driver were found, Nicholas Nieuwkoop, 23, from Napanee, was charged with impaired driving, impaired while over 80 mg and dangerous driving.

The accused was released from custody and is scheduled to appear in Napanee Court on September 30.

Their driver’s licence was suspended for 90 days and their vehicle was impounded.

Then, just after 7 o’clock Monday morning, L&A County OPP was called by a member of the public regarding a possible impaired driver parked at a school in Bath.

Police located the vehicle and after a short foot pursuit, the driver was arrested.

Peter Valyear, 43, of Kingston, faces charges of;

He has a court date October 7.
