A Quinte West bowler is shining after competing in a recent Pan Am Games qualifying event.
Marissa Naylor wore the red and white of Team Canada in Costa Rica at the qualifier and clinched a silver medal in the Doubles event.
She also placed fifth in the Singles event.
The qualifier is for the 2027 Pan Am Games in Lima, Peru, held July 23 to August 8 next year.
This follows a bronze medal in the team event at the 2026 Pan Am Games in Colombia for Naylor, marking Canada’s first team medal at the championships in several years.
