Residents may observe smoke and hear emergency vehicle sirens during a scheduled training exercise at 8 Wing Trenton on 3 November 2026 (Tuesday).
The exercise will be conducted on Department of National Defence property under controlled conditions. Members of the public and Wing personnel may observe smoke, emergency vehicles and increased activity between approximately 8:45 a.m. and 9:30 a.m. (±10 minutes). There is no risk to public safety.
Training exercises of this nature are conducted regularly to help ensure personnel are prepared to respond effectively during emergencies and maintain operational readiness.
Members of the public are asked to remain clear of the exercise area. 8 Wing Trenton appreciates the understanding and cooperation of residents and visitors as this important training is conducted.
