As the club continues to support local hockey and connect with fans across the Bay of Quinte Region, the Belleville Senators will hit the ice in Quinte West next Tuesday.
Sens players will conduct an open community practice at the Duncan McDonald Community Gardens, home of the Ontario Junior Hockey League’s Trenton Golden Hawks, on November 3, from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., followed by an autograph session until 7:30 p.m.
Fans and community members are invited to watch the on-ice workout and stay afterward for autographs, with a chance to get a souvenir from future NHL stars and hopefuls.
“Bringing practice to community arenas is a special opportunity,” said Belleville Sens Head Coach Andrew Campbell. “It gives local kids a front-row seat to the work ethic and skill of our players, while strengthening our connection with fans in different communities across 613 Country.”
“We’re so excited to welcome the Belleville Senators to “The Dunc” for a community practice!” said Quinte West Minor Hockey Administrator Kim Thurston. “Our players, staff and families will be able to see firsthand the effort and hard work that professionals put into their practices and habits and then use that example to motivate themselves to keep reaching their hockey goals.”
Registration isn’t required, but fans who do RSVP in advance will be entered to win a 2026-27 team-signed stick.
This community practice will be the first of three across the Quinte Region during the 2026-27 AHL campaign (dates and locations to be announced) and officially kicks off the lead-up to the club’s first annual Hockey Weekend in Quinte, which features an OJHL game between the Trenton Golden Hawks and Wellington Dukes at CIBC Place on Friday, November 13.
