Quinte West OPP have located a person of interest after a search operation involving a large police presence in Trenton Wednesday afternoon.
They initially issued a notice on social media at 4:41 pm saying they were looking for a person wearing a red hat and a black shirt around Sidney Street and Marmora Street.
They updated the public around 5:20 that they had located the person of interest with the “all-clear” message posted below. No other details were provided.
CLEARED (5:19 p.m.): An increased police presence in the area in the area of Dixon Drive between Sidney Street and Marmora Street in Trenton is clearing. The individual officers were seeking has been located and the incident has been resolved. The OPP thanks the public for their cooperation.
