Upon arrival, officers spoke to both parties involved. It was reported that female had physically assaulted a male by punching him in the face.

As a result of investigation, a 48-year-old Belleville woman was arrested and charged with assault.

She was released on an Undertaking and is scheduled to appear in court in October.
