Airport Parkway culvert replacement set to begin this month

Replacement of a culvert on Airport Parkway, 900 metres east of Mitchell Road, is set to begin this month. 

City of Belleville officials say Airport Parkway will generally remain open to vehicles and pedestrians throughout construction; however, traffic disruptions and detours will be required at various stages of the project. Two weekend road closures are anticipated, with advance notice to be provided ahead of each closure.

This project includes the removal of the existing culvert, installation of a new precast concrete box culvert and retaining walls, and new paving and steel beam guide rail installation.
