Fog advisory for parts of the Quinte Region Wednesday has been lifted

UPDATE at 8 AM – the Fog Advisory issued by Environment Canada has been lifted.

ORIGINAL STORY – The first day of class could present a few problems with visibility in Quinte on Wednesday.

A Fog Advisory (yellow) has been issued for the Belleville, Quinte West and Brighton areas.

ADVISORY FROM ENVIRONMENT CANADA (issued around 4 am) – Near-zero visibility in fog is expected over some areas. Visibility should improve this morning as the fog dissipates. Be prepared for areas of near-zero visibility and allow extra time to reach your destination.
