Collision closes Highway south of Napanee on Monday night

A busy road just south of Napanee (and just east of the Glenora Ferry) was closed for a few hours following a crash on Monday Night.

OPP officers responded to the site of a single-vehicle crash involving a dump truck on Highway 33/Loyalist Parkway east of County Road 8 around 6:30 pm.

One person was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The road was closed in that area for just over three hours, reopening around 9:30 pm.

More information is expected on Tuesday.
