Watermain flushing and hydrant maintenance in Wellington

The County of Prince Edward’s watermain flushing and hydrant maintenance program will begin on Monday, Oct 27 in the Wellington Drinking Water System. Flushing will take place between 7am and 6pm, Monday to Friday.

Watermains will be flushed and hydrants will be serviced throughout the municipality’s drinking water systems in accordance with the Ontario Fire Code (Ontario Regulation 730/81).

The fall watermain flushing and hydrant maintenance program will take place from Oct 27-31 in all addresses serviced by municipal water connected to the Wellington Drinking Water System.
