Belleville Police have shared the following message on Instagram about road safety.
Yesterday, members of the Traffic Safety Unit stopped a delivery truck after observing unsafe tires. An inspection revealed a completely bald front tire and a rear tire that was coming apart. Officers also found expired license plates, an expired CVOR, and no completed daily inspection report.
Multiple Provincial Offence Notices were issued to both the driver and the company. The vehicle was taken out of service and towed for repairs.
