Road closures and traffic disruptions will occur on Sunday, Oct 5 during the County Marathon in Prince Edward County.
The closures are rolling, meaning roads will reopen when necessary. In addition, major intersections will be managed to keep traffic moving and allow vehicles through at regular intervals. The road closures will be coordinated by a specialized road company and the OPP.
The following roads will be closed at these times:
County Rd 33 (Wellington to Bloomfield) 7:30 am to 10am
County Rd 12 (Bloomfield to Sandbanks) 8:30am to 11:30am
County Rd 11 & County Rd 10 (Sandbanks to Picton) 9:30am to 1:30pm
Picton Main St (Lake St to Crystal Palace) 9:30am to 2:30pm

The race finish line is at Crystal Palace at the Picton Fairgrounds (375 Picton Main St). Race participants will run along the entire surface of Picton Main St.
Drivers are asked to proceed with caution and avoid travelling in the vicinity of the race route if possible.
