Tragic news in Belleville as two people have been pronounced dead in a train-pedestrian collision.
At approximately 11:40 p.m., Belleville Police responded to the area of Wilkie Street following a report of a pedestrian struck by a train.
Officers attended the scene and located two individuals, both of whom had been struck by a train. Both individuals were pronounced deceased.
Any further inquiries should be directed to the Office of the Chief Coroner.
