The Wellington Dukes are stepping into a new era with a new leader in the owner’s chair.
This past weekend, the Ontario Junior Hockey League and the Ontario Hockey Association confirmed the sale of the local Junior A club from Ken Clement to Quinte businessman Andrew Gunning.
Clement, a held sole ownership of the club for the past five years after purchasing Michael Mulvihill’s majority share in 2021.
Gunning owns Oak Hills Golf Course and Farnsworth Construction in Stirling.
The deal is expected to be finalized in the coming weeks.
