Crash briefly closes Frankford-Stirling Road

A serious crash briefly closed a busy road in Quinte West on Wednesday afternoon.

Late in the afternoon, there was a collision on Frankford Stirling Road by Oak Lake Road

Quinte West Fire Crews were on the scene in the 4 o’clock hour (on Wednesday afternoon).

The road was reportedly closed around the crash site, though there is no word yet on how large an area was affected.

No word yet either on injuries.

Quinte West Fire cleared the scene and the road was reopened by 5:15 pm.
