Speedway lifts lid on new season Saturday

By Brock Ormond May 9, 2026 | 6:30 AM

Brighton Speedway racers and fans will try again this Saturday to lift the lid off the new season.

After last weekend’s action was halted due to rain, the Speedway will kick off the season in a big way with NLMA Lid Lifter.

The night will feature Late models, Canadian Modifieds, Mini Stocks and more, as well as a Kids Race for the Canadian National Autism Foundation.

Tickets are $5 OFF with a donation to the Brighton Fare Share Food Bank and are valid on Adult, Youth, and Senior grandstand admission tickets.

Get pumped up for a full night of racing, family fun, and supporting two incredible causes.
