Brown puts name forward for re-election in Ward 2 in Belleville

By Brock Ormond May 8, 2026 | 1:07 PM

Another incumbent councillor will be seeking to reclaim a spot around the Belleville horseshoe this fall.

Kathryn Brown announced on social media that she will be running for re-election as Councillor for Ward 2 Thurlow in the upcoming municipal election on October 26.

Brown stated it has been a privilege to serve the residents of Belleville over the last four years and touted her experience as part of the banking industry, as a small business owner and volunteer.

She added she aims to continue to be ‘fiscally prudent’ and upfront with communication through Ward 2 Town Halls to her constituents.

For any questions or inquiries, residents can reach out to Brown’s campaign email kathrynbrown000@gmail.com.
