The City of Belleville is proud to announce the official launch of its new Economic Development website, unveiled in celebration of Economic Development Week.
The platform is designed to position Belleville as a competitive and collaborative destination for investment, business growth and entrepreneurship.
The new website serves as a modern, user-friendly hub for investors, site selectors, entrepreneurs and local businesses. It provides streamlined access to key information including available properties, demographic data, infrastructure insights and municipal services.
“This new platform reflects how we plan to do business in Belleville – accessible, responsive and forward-thinking,” says Elisha Maguire, Manager of Economic Development. “It showcases our strategic location, skilled workforce and investment-ready opportunities while making it easier for businesses to connect with the resources they need to succeed.”
The website highlights Belleville’s advantages within Eastern Ontario, including proximity to major markets, strong transportation networks and a supportive business environment. It also enhances transparency and ease of navigation for clients seeking to engage with municipal departments and services.
The development of the website was a collaborative effort across multiple City departments, with contributions that reflect the breadth of services available to support business and investment. A secondary platform underway is a digital Developer Toolkit, designed to help navigate the building, permitting, planning and regulatory environment and walk developers through each process to further support investment-readiness and move development forward with confidence through a coordinated process.
The launch of this website is being supported by a social media campaign throughout the week, further amplifying Belleville’s profile as a destination to invest, grow and thrive.
