A Belleville man has been charged with public mischief following an incident on Sunday.

On May 3rd, Belleville Police responded to three calls for service regarding a male requesting EMS assistance despite reporting no new medical concerns. At 3:05pm, police responded to the third call for service after the male contacted EMS a third time while indicating no change in his condition.

Upon further investigation, it was reported that the individual had contacted EMS several times over the past week.

As a result, Daniel Gilby, 31-year-old Belleville man of no fixed address was arrested and charged with public mischief.

He was released on an Undertaking with a scheduled court date in July.
