A busy road in Trenton will be shut down for a lengthy period of time for road and sidewalk work.
A full road closure of 2nd Dug Hill Road from Highway 2 to Hillside Meadows Drive is scheduled to begin on May 4. All residential traffic from Hillside Meadows subdivision will be detoured south on 2nd Dug Hill Road to Loyalist Parkway for the duration of the closure.
Temporary signal lights have been installed to manage traffic flow and will remain in effect throughout the summer.
Access will remain open to emergency vehicles until further notice.
This closure will allow work to begin on the new multi-use pathway, sidewalk and road reconstruction.
