Hydrant flushing continues this week in Quinte West.
This week they are doing area 2.
📅 May 4 – 8
📍 Frankford (west side of Trent River)
Flushing will be carried out daily from 7:30 a.m. – 4 p.m., Monday to Thursday and 7:30 a.m. – 10:30 a.m. on Fridays.
Hydrant flushing ensures proper flows for firefighting and improves water quality by flushing pipes with fresh water. Sediment in the mains can be stirred up briefly during this process, causing dirty water. If this occurs, please run your tap until it clears.
