House fire early Saturday morning in Thurlow

Belleville firefighters made quick work of a house fire in Thurlow on Saturday morning.

Crews responded to a fire at 2:07 am in the 200 block of River Road.

Firefighters quick response kept the damage to a rear upper storey bedroom of the home.

There were no injuries.

The investigation is underway to determine a cause.

A full damage estimate is not yet available.
