Pickleball event raises big money for local YMCA

A pickleball fundraiser for the local YMCA was a smashing success on Thursday.

The 4th Annual Pickleball Tournament at the fantastic Pickleplex Social Club in Belleville featured 40 players, 10 action-packed matches, and plenty of spirited rallies at the net.

In total, the event served up an incredible $68,000 raised for our community!

A huge shoutout to Durkins Gherkins (Quinte West) for being the top fundraising team.

Once again, Kurt Gregoire proved unstoppable, taking home the title of Top Fundraiser with an impressive $7,114 raised.

Well done to everyone who played, donated, and cheered from the sidelines—your impact goes far beyond the court.

The money raised goes to the local YMCA’s Strong Kids Campaign.
