Two people were arrested following a dispute between neighbours in Belleville on Tuesday.
On April 21st at 1:30pm, Belleville Police responded to a neighbour dispute at a residence in the city’s west end.
Police learned that a verbal argument between two neighbouring households escalated when a male from one residence charged at the neighbour, while a female from the same residence swung an object at the neighbour. Upon investigation, it was learned that the male involved was on conditions to not communicate with the neighbour. As a result of investigation, the following persons were arrested and charged:
A 41-year-old Belleville woman was arrested and charged with assault with a weapon. She was released on an Undertaking with a scheduled court date in July. A 40-year-old Belleville man was arrested and charged with fail to comply with a probation order X2. He was released on an Undertaking with a scheduled court date in July.
