A Belleville man is set to be sentenced early next month on numerous sexual offences involving two minors.
Submissions were made on Friday at the Quinte Consolidated Courthouse against Brian Robert Reid, who was previously found guilty of 10 charges earlier this year.
The charges include three counts each of sexual assault and sexual interference, two counts of inviting sexual touching, and one count each of sexual exploitation and making child pornography.
Crown prosecution is seeking up to 12 years of prison time and a placement on the national sex offender registry, while Reid’s defence team is seeking as little as seven years.
Both parties recommended that Reid receive credit for 10-and-a-half months of time served.
The sentence is expected to be handed down by Justice Patrick Hurley on May 4.
