The Trenton Golden Hawks are proud to announce the appointment of Connor Armour as the club’s new General Manager and Head Coach.

Armour, a native of Bowmanville, Ontario, joins the Golden Hawks on the heels of being named the 2025-26 OJHL Coach of the Year. His recent coaching tenure is highlighted by leading his teams to the Eastern Conference Final twice in the last three seasons. Known as an elite developer of talent, Armour has a proven history of moving players on to the NHL, NCAA, and CHL levels, including NHL draft pick Trevor Hoskin.

Armour also spent five years as a player in the OJHL with the Cobourg Cougars and four years in NCAA Division 3 with the Adrian College Bulldogs.

“The Trenton Golden Hawks are a premier destination for players and coaches,” said Armour. “The fans here are passionate and have high standards for this team, and those standards will be met. I can’t wait to get started.”

Armour will lead the club’s “New Era” in a close partnership with recently appointed Director of Hockey Operations, Michael Camilleri. While new as a management pair, both are aligned in their mission to maintain Trenton’s reputation as a championship-caliber organization and a “player-first” destination.

The new leadership team is hitting the ground running and will lead the evaluation process at the upcoming Golden Hawks Prospect & Goalie Camp, taking place May 29-31, 2026.
