The Northumberland Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) has charged an individual in connection with a harassment investigation that started during the winter.

On February 17, police received a complaint regarding harassing phone communications of an explicit nature.

The victim reported receiving a significant number of unwanted calls over the previous week.

The investigation was conducted with assistance from the Northumberland OPP Crime Unit. After a six‑week investigation, officers took one individual into custody on April 2.

Adam Fuisz, 32, from Pembroke, has been charged with indecent communications and harassment.

The accused is due to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Cobourg in May.
