More details have been released of a recent rescue led by the Joint Rescue Coordination Centre at CFB Trenton.

Back on March 31, in collaboration with the OPP, a CH-146 Griffon helicopter from 424 Squadron at 8-Wing rescued an injured person in a remote location near Calabogie.

Two SAR Techs were deployed to provide first aid on the ground and secure the person in preparation for their airlift.

The helicopter then transported the person safely to local Paramedics.
