The Trenton Golden Hawks are proud to announce the appointment of Michael Camilleri as the club’s new Director of Hockey Operations.
A native of London, Ontario, Camilleri joins the Golden Hawks with a history of success at every level.
The organization says his scouting expertise has contributed to some of the most prestigious trophies in the sport, including a Memorial Cup with the London Knights (OHL) in 2016 and a Robertson Cup with the Shreveport Mudbugs (NAHL) in 2021.
‘His deep scouting network spans the OHL, USHL, NAHL, and OJHL, providing Trenton with an unparalleled reach in player recruitment,” Golden Hawks management stated.
Most recently, Michael has held General Manager and Director of Hockey Operations positions with the GOHL (Bombers & Siskins) and OJHL (Toronto Patriots).
Beyond the front office, Michael has a great deal of experience with premier spring and summer program dedicated to preparing young athletes for the next steps in their careers. His philosophy centers on high-paced training and creating a culture where like-minded players can exceed their potential while learning vital life lessons through the game.
Camilleri will take the lead immediately, overseeing the scouting department and will be a integral part of the team’s May Prospect Camp.
