A Belleville man is to appear in court next month after a reported confrontation with another individual overnight Wednesday.

A report came to Belleville Police in the midnight hour regarding an unwanted person at a west end residence who was making threats toward a female resident.

A male on the property was reportedly yelling and being confrontational toward a woman, who was reportedly known to the female but was not wanted at the residence.

He refused to leave when asked and became increasingly angry.

39-year-old Ryan O’Neil was arrested and charged with uttering threats.

He was released on an Undertaking and is scheduled to appear in court in November.
