Beyond the Headlines – Career Fair in Belleville

By Hailey MacDonald Oct 15, 2025 | 1:50 PM

There are plenty of jobs around if you know where to look, and today many of those opportunities are gathered in one location.

The cities of Belleville and Quinte West are holding the Work in Quinte Career Fair today from 1–6 p.m. at the Quinte Sports and Wellness Centre.

This free event will bring together more than 45 employers from across the Bay of Quinte region, offering full-time and part-time positions in a variety of sectors.

If you are looking for a job or a career change, you need to pre-register at workinquinte.ca.

I have covered and also talked to people at many of these events, and they are amazing opportunities where many people get interviews right on the spot.

No matter what you are looking for, opportunity is waiting for you at dozens of displays.

One year alone, they had 250 people attend the event, which had companies looking for close to 500 people, with some of them hiring people right there on the spot.

Thanks to the cities of Belleville and Quinte West for organizing the event with help from the Bay of Quinte Regional Marketing Board.

If you have been having a hard time finding a new or better job, the end of your search may be waiting today at the place where the Belleville Senators play.
