Pop-ups on the Bay is bidding farewell to the City of Belleville.
Officials with the pop-ups confirmed on social media that the tourism endeavour will be coming to a close as the city ‘reviews its programs’ and considers budgetary impacts.
The city is also looking ahead to reimagine a waterfront that continues to welcome visitors and support local businesses.
“What started as an idea to bring a little extra energy to our waterfront turned into something truly special,” the statement read in part.
“A place filled with local flavours, small businesses chasing big dreams, live music, and fun times along the Bay of Quinte.”
Officials thanked vendors ‘the heart of the Pop-ups’ and visitors for bringing truly local support to the initiative.
