Their offence was the key as the Trenton Golden Hawks posted a win in a matinee on Wednesday over the Lindsay Muskies on home ice.
Trenton outshot Lindsay 40-25 and scored three goals in the 2nd and 3rd periods as they coasted to a 7-3 win.
The game got chippy in the third period with several penalties, including a fight between Hawks affiliated defenceman Cole Mulder and Lindsay’s Brandon Mann.
