Len Corcoran Excavating Ltd. will be remobilizing for the reconstruction of Octavia Street (north of Catharine Street) and Henry Street (west of Murney Street).
The second phase of the project is set to begin early this month and is anticipated to be completed in the fall.
This phase includes final restoration of Henry Street between Murney Street and Octavia Street, as well as the full reconstruction of Octavia Street from Catharine Street to the north end.
Traffic control and signage will be in place to direct motorists and pedestrians accordingly.
Planned improvements include the installation of a new storm sewer main and catch basins, replacement of the existing sanitary sewer main and existing sanitary services, replacement of the existing watermain and the existing water services, and complete road reconstruction, including new concrete curb and gutter, new concrete sidewalk and new asphalt road surface.
