Pedestrian injured in Kingston crash

A pedestrian was seriously injured after they were struck by a vehicle on Sunday afternoon in Kingston.
On March 29, 2026, at approximately 4:00 p.m. members of the Kingston Police Patrol Division responded to a report of a collision involving a vehicle and a pedestrian on Collins Bay Road between Safari Drive and Woodbine Road.
As a result of the collision and subsequent investigation the roadway was closed for a number of hours. The roadway was re-opened at approximately 9:00 p.m.
The pedestrian was transported to hospital with serious injuries.
Members of the Kingston Police Traffic Unit attended the scene and commenced an investigation into the cause of the collision.
The investigation is currently on-going.
