By Katie Sherratt Mar 27, 2026 | 9:03 AM

Congratulations to Gandhi Moxey, the Athlete of the Week!

Sport – Swimming

Team Name – Albert College Panthers

Gandhi Moxey delivered an outstanding performance at the 2026 CISAA Winter Swimming Championships, earning three gold medals prior to March Break. She secured first place in three individual events: the 50-metre butterfly, 50-metre breaststroke, and 100-metre Individual Medley (IM). Gandhi is a first-year boarding student in Grade 10 at Albert College, originally from the Bahamas. She has demonstrated exceptional dedication and resilience, successfully balancing rigorous academic demands, competitive swimming, and extracurricular involvement while living away from her family. Following her success at CISAA, Gandhi represented Albert College at the OFSAA Swimming Championships in Windsor, Ontario. Competing against top athletes from across the province, she placed 12th in the 50-metre breaststroke and 7th in the 100-metre Individual Medley. These accomplishments reflect her talent, perseverance, and commitment, and she is a proud representative of Albert College.
