PEC announces temporary changes to garbage and recycling collection March 30 – April 3

The garbage, green bin and recycling collection schedule for the week of March 30 will change because of the Easter holiday.

There will be no collection on Friday, April 3. Regular collection will return on Monday, April 9.

Please find your regular collection date on the left and the corresponding temporary collection date on the right. View the temporary collection schedule.

day will be:

Tuesday, March 31 Monday, March 30
Wednesday, April 1 Tuesday, March 31
Thursday, April 2 Wednesday, April 1
Friday, April 3 Thursday, April 2

 

Residents must have their garbage, green bin, and properly sorted blue boxes out to the curb by 7 am to ensure pickup. If your recycling collection is missed on collection day, please call 1.866.358.3560. If your garbage collection is missed, call 613.476.2148 extension 1023. Visit https://e360s.ca/service-updates/ for information on delays or changes in collection schedules.

Garbage bags must be tightly sealed and weigh no more than 40lbs when filled. All bags must have a visible tag. To review the Waste Management By-law, please click here.

The landfill and transfer stations’ operating hours will run as scheduled Saturday, April 4.
