Crosswalk line painting to take place overnight Oct 16 in Wellington & Picton

Crosswalk line painting is set to take place overnight tonight (Oct 16) in Wellington and Picton.

The County of Prince Edward is committed to recognizing the service, contributions, and sacrifices of our veterans and those who served in the Canadian Armed Forces.

Commemorative crosswalks will be painted overnight on Thursday, Oct 16 to honour Indigenous Veteran’s Day (Nov 8) and Remembrance Day (Nov 11).

The Main St crosswalk by the Cenotaph in Wellington and the Ferguson St crosswalk by the Cenotaph in Picton will be painted.

Pedestrians and motorists are asked to approach the sites with caution.
