Belleville woman arrested following verbal altercation

Belleville Police arrested a woman following a verbal altercation in the city on Monday.

On March 16th at 10:50pm, Belleville Police attended a residence in the city’s west end regarding a report of a disturbance.

Upon arrival, it was reported that a verbal argument occurred between two females.

Upon investigation, officers learned that one of the females was bound by conditions to not communicate with the other female.

As a result, a 29-year-old Belleville woman was arrested and charged with two counts of failure to comply with an undertaking.

She was held for a bail hearing.

No name was released.
