Two people charged with breaching conditions within one day of release in Napanee

Two local residents have been arrested within 24 hours of being released on previous charges related to a drug warrant in Napanee.

On Tuesday, March 10, 2026, the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) East Region Offender Management and Apprehension Program (OMAP) members, and officers from the Lennox and Addington County OPP, located two parties together on Bridge St in Napanee who had recently been released from custody and were currently bound by bail conditions.

The parties were arrested and a search led the seizure of approximately 3 grams of cocaine, just over 4 grams of methamphetamine and just under a gram of fentanyl, as a result:

Justin HUTSON, a 42-year-old from Napanee was charged with:

  • Possession of cocaine
  • Possession of fentanyl
  • Possession of methamphetamine
  • Failure to comply with release order – two counts
  • Fail to comply with probation order – two counts

Sarah VOSS, a 39-year-old from Tyendinaga was charged with:

  • Failure to comply with release order
  • Fail to comply with a conditional sentence order

Both accused were held in custody pending a bail hearing before the Ontario Court of Justice in Greater Napanee on March 11, 2026.
