A man faces charges on outstanding warrants from this past weekend.

Saturday before 1 p.m., Belleville Police received a report of a man lying on a bike trail in the city’s west end.

Upon arrival, officers located the male and learned that he had outstanding Belleville Police Service arrest warrants for failing to attend court, mischief under $5,000, and theft under $5,000.

Glenn Switzer, 35-year-old Belleville man of no fixed address, was arrested on the strength of the outstanding warrants.

He was released on an Undertaking with a scheduled court date in June.
