Power outage in Belleville and Pickering

A power outage affected parts of Belleville and Pickering on Friday night.

Elexicon reported that an outage affecting more than 5,000 customers began shortly before 8 pm.

Parts of Belleville and Pickering were reportedly affected with the issue originating in Belleville.

There is no word yet on the cause of the outage or the estimated time of restoration (as of 8:20 pm)
