Brooke Chesher Counselling and Psychotherapy is proud to announce the opening of its new in-person location at 20 Joseph St, Trenton.

Founded by lifelong Quinte resident, Brooke Chesher, the practice marks a meaningful milestone in her mission to provide accessible, compassionate mental health support to the community.

“I grew up in the Quinte area and have always felt a strong conneciton to this community,” said Chesher.

“When I began my practice three years ago, I worked virtually from my home office, supporting clients through navigating pandemic and post-pandemic challenges. As my business grew, so did my awareness of the need for local mental health services. That inspired me to shift toward in-person therapy, creating a welcoming space for our community to connect and heal.”

Brooke Chesher Counselling and Psychotherapy offers therapy for children, teens, families, and women during and after pregnancy. A key focus of the practice is a specialized approach that uses play, children’s natural form of expression, to help them process emotions and experiences in a safe, supportive environment.

Through creative play, art, and conversation, Chesher helps clients explore their feelings, manage anxiety, navigate life transitions, and develop healthy coping strategies tailored to their individual needs.

The location is open from 8am to 4pm most days. Contact bcheshertherapy@gmail.com for more information.
